Personal Lines Account Manager—
West Houston —up to $60K base—nice company where you are not micro-managed, great culture, flexibility for life…Requirements:
- Property & Casualty Insurance License required
- Minimum of 3-5 years independent agency experience
- Experience with insurance sales
- Experience with Applied EPIC agency management system and comparative rater are preferred
- Excellent communication skills and a customer service attitude
- Process renewals and changes to policies,
- Analyze client needs, coverage forms and quotations and assist sales personnel with potential or established clients.
- Analyze prospects’ personal lines coverage needs and pre-qualify new clients for their insurance needs. Recommends coverages and prepares rating quotes and proposal to sell new services.
- Actively solicit increases in coverage or rounding out accounts through sales to clients during service contract.
- Fill out applications for insurance and has newly insured customers sign them. Submit applications to to appropriate carriers; and, actively, follow up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies.
- Assist clients in submitting first claim reports, facilitate prompt response from carrier staff and monitor claims status reports, according to agency procedures.
- Investigate cancel requests and work to deter request for cancellation from current customers.
Commercial Lines Assistant—
West Houston—$40-50K—nice company where you are not micro-managed, great culture, flexibility for life…Requirements:
- 2+ years supporting experience in an independent insurance agency in commercial lines
- Experienced in policy review, providing customer service, assisting sales, etc.
- Experience with insurance sales
Support sales efforts of the independent insurance agents. Schedule and maintain calendar of events. Responsible for informational distribution to required staff. Maintenance of insurance paperwork involved for clients and customers. General coordination of required documentation and distribution to those involved. Direct customer interaction in order for the communication lines to be open at all times.
