HR Specialist, University Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding
Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.

Then have a closer look at this opportunity to join our People Resourcing team in Hydro North America! We are hiring an HR Specialist to fill a role which combines two related fields: University Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding.
This role offers a dynamic mix of operational and strategic activities, and you will be exposed to and work with extensive parts of Hydro, candidates and external partners. Your main stakeholders are hiring managers at all levels of the organization, HR Business Partners and Communications.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop and manage our college recruiting program
Develop university relationships for Hydro as a potential employer, incl. internship and co-op placement
Develop strategy for attracting underrepresented talent
Plan and execute university recruiting events with schools, organizations and Hydro Ambassadors
Develop, implement and administer the Hydro Internship Program in North America
Ensure a stellar experience for our interns throughout the recruiting and onboarding process
Lead the coordination and planning of batch interview days, including logistics, programming, communications, etc.
Drive the standardization and development of Hydro’s group recruitment processes (summer temps, apprentices and graduates)
Develop and own the national employer branding plan in co-operation with HR BPs
Become the brand manager for Employer Branding activities, working with the Communications team and Global HR to ensure success
Develop and roll-out an internal & external employer branding communication strategy
Develop, plan, coordinate, and execute employer branding content on multiple media platforms, including, but not limited to: Facebook/Workplace, YouTube, Instagram, etc.
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned from time to time
Education and Work Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within HR, Business and/or Marketing/Communications
1-3 years of previous work experience within recruitment and/or employer branding activities
Project management experience is considered an advantage
Experience with high-volume recruitment coordination experience is desired
Understanding of University Recruiting standards
Ability to continuously seek and strive for improvements in processes and the work you do
A proven service mindset and customer orientation
Ability to prioritize effectively and maintain high accuracy and thoroughness in your work
Ability to build internal and external networks, create trust and communicate well with people at all levels of the organization.
Strong presentation skills
This position offers excellent opportunities to develop as an expert within Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding. You will be exposed to a broad range of managers and employees, and build an extensive network across the organization, as well as outside of Hydro.
You may expect travelling in this position (approx. 30 days/year).
