Responsibilities and Duties of the 2 vps mid size community bank include:
…Must have experience managing existing loan portfolios, developing new business for loans and all types of accounts within their operation.
- Interviewing applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility for granting loans
- Underwrite credit requests, work past due loans and report status to loan committee
- Work closely with processors, underwriters and assist loan officers to enable customers with loans and other business requests…able to work effectively with minimal supervision and take initiative in problem solving and business development
- Property and collateral inspections (real estate, cattle, etc.) as needed for prospective loans
- Coordinate with underwriters, processors and loan officers in order to assist customers with their loans and business requirements. This position requires little supervision with excellent problem-solving skills and business development attitude.
- Provide community information to newcomers and other individuals. Assist new residents with becoming familiar with the area and services provided in the community.
- Run credit reports, local information such as flood reports and EDR information, as needed.
- Be involved with local events and other outside.
- Approve loans with specific limits and/or prepare loan packages for approvals.
- Keep customers abreast of loan progress and requirements in order to effectively process individual and business loan requests.
- Prepare debt to income statements and review tax returns, and preparation of cash flows.
- Extend working hours when necessary to enable completion of various customer needs.
- Take loan applications, type memos, presentations and files for loan review. Prepare audits such as cash flows exceptions or other requirements needed for processing loans.
- Explain provisions, obtain signatures and notarizations, and collect fees.
- Requires, standing, typing, lifting boxes and files.
- Requires the following physical abilities: manual dexterity for computer, cash handling typing and extended lifting.
